“Will this unit provide 100 watts max to each speaker ? I purchased the alpine 45w max per channel. I thought it would be better then nothing. Max output on the Kenwood unit I installed is 45 per channel. How would this unit stand up compared to Alpine?”

Depending on installation, it could easily outperform the alpine. I am an alpine fan, but the kenwood amp is rich with features and am sure you won't be disappointed. It powers 4 5-1/4' and two 6.5' with ease and little distortion. I use it on my harley and it easily keeps the volume above my loud pipes and wind noise.
