Yes this kit will work on a 2005 Dodge Ram. You will have to do a little modification, but you can buy a double din dash kit for it off of Crutchfield. I did it on mine and it worked perfectly.

No it will not, you have what is called a din and a half provision which this radio requires a double din provision and there is no dash kit available to accommodate this to your vehicle
