Sep-24-2019; 1:30 pm PT - I just got off the phone with Kenwood. This is what they walked me through: (and in contrast to the SiriusXM folks, Kenwood Tech Support knew immediately what to do!) While SiriusXM is in use: There's an arrow on the left side of the screen. Click that arrow. Go to Setup (this is the SiriusXM Setup). You should see Content Alerts. Look to see if that is On or Off. If On, click to turn it Off. Done.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.See my previous answers but... take note!! In the same screen, scroll down, there is actually an item called "Featured Bands have been Updated!" Just turn the alerts off!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same screen prompt. Talk about annoying. I just spent 30 minutes on the phone with SiriusXM, two technicians have never heard of this message and could not find anything in their database. I used to be 3rd level tech support for many years. What I notice is that the guys you get on the phone, 1st and 2nd level, they don't know how to listen. They are multi tasking etc, and well, you get the idea. They were no help at all.
