• You can play videos by mirroring your phone but the screen will produce a very small sometimes off center mirror image. If your phone is in portrait or standard mode it will barely be visible. If your willing to fight mainting your phone in landscape mode the video again will likely not be center and show a mirror image smaller than your phone screen

• When in mirroring, it plays my youtube videos just fine. I haven't tried any other way.
