The Kenwood DPX305MBT receiver does not have direct iPod control compatibility, meaning it will not fully recognize or control an iPod Classic through its USB port. However, you may still be able to play music from an iPod Classic by: Using the AUX Input – If your iPod Classic has a headphone jack, you can connect it to the receiver’s AUX input using a 3.5mm cable. Using Bluetooth (if applicable) – If your iPod Classic is a later model that supports Bluetooth (like with an adapter), you might be able to stream audio wirelessly. Using USB in Mass Storage Mode – Some iPod models may work as a simple USB storage device if the music files are in a compatible format, but this is not guaranteed.
