• It definitly would work for a rear view camera. It’s got a very clear picture. I have it mounted on the top of my pickup looking in the bed so I can easily hook onto fifth wheel trailers

• You can use it as a camera depth perception is rough because it's a fish eye view. I'm not certain how long the cord is because Best buy installed the camera
