“Does this camera delete old files automatically when the sd memory card gets full ?”

• My unit also asks for the chip to be formatted when full. It does overwrite but keeps "chirping" until the chip is reformatted. I've shut off the "sound" but it continues to chirp. I've also set the unit to "no protect" the files but it continues to protect them. Seems like a flaw in the software design. (the continual chirp drives me crazy)

• Our dashcam prompts us to reformat every time it is full.

• Yes the videos will be deleted if no incident happens. If there is an accident the camera will protect and save that incident otherwise it will just keep over riding any old videos.
