i recently purchased the kenwood drv a30 and the r200, what i found out upon inspection is that they are not compatible. The r200 is compatible with the kenwood drv a601 because it has a CAM IN port at the top of the caamera. The a301 does not have CAM IN port. Unfortunately the sales rep told me they were compatible.....I will be returning the rear camera.

The Best Buy representative gave me the same misleading information and he actually hand selected both of the items for me. This took place during the start of the whole Covid situation. I had also purchased a car stereo from Best Buy at around the same time period. My plan was to have the stereo and cameras installed at the same time but every local company closed down due to Covid. When I was finally able to get my stereo installed by another vendor, I was disappointed to find out that the cameras would not work together. I brought the cameras back into Best Buy and they refused to help me in any way whatsoever because it had been too long since the purchase. I was even willing to pay the difference for the higher priced camera, but they continued to refuse my request.
