• So I was having the same issue. I was not pushing it in all the way. It's real tight on the base. Push it all the way and it will work.

• I have used both. I like the shorter cord so I am using that now. I’ll be using the longer cord in summer to get Cam out of sun and protect it inside car. Like I said very nice to have choices. Thanks!
