How do I erase the sd card null

On the camera, press the Menu Button twice so the gear icon is highlighted. Press the down arrow key to get to 'Format SD Card.'. Press the okay (red) button on the right side. Card is formatted, files are erased.

The easiest way would be to remove the Micro SD Card from the camera, put it in an Adapter and connect to your computer. Then erase all files on it. They will be created as needed by the camera. I have not looked at the camera to see how to do it thru it, but will look at it tonight.

The settings menu will give you the option to format the SD card, which will erase everything save on it. The dashcam will automatically over write anything recorded, and not saved, on the SD card when it is full.
