“Why does this camera randomly beep even when it’s not on or connected to a power source? It also does this at any random time when acting on and recording. It does do it when it needs to reformat but it does it constantly even when it doesn’t need to.”

The camera has a beep feature you can turn off. Access the cameras settings then device sounds and turn it off.
