• It must have been a data entry error. I just checked and it now shows compatibility for both the standard and JBL systems. This is actually a self installed model with a DC power port and suction cup mount.

• I don't understand why it says that either, As long as you have a windshield to adhere the camera to and a power source it should work. I've had mine for about a month now on a Jeep Wrangler and it works great.
