• You can see the immediate GPS position. Regarding looking at the history, you can upload (pairing) the dashcam to a Kenwood app and review video and other position data. I use a 256gb Sandisk Micro SDXC card and USB combo. It makes easy transferring the card data to Kenwood software on a PC. Playing data on a PC is an enhanced view of your camera, speed, gps, forces applied, your position on map, audio (on or off). I am very happy with the playback quality.

• Yes, when you download the video and you play It back, you hit the map button and it will show you along the map as you travel.
