yes, if you have one of the forward facing Kenwood cameras DRV-A501WDP or DRV-A601WDP, that have a place for a second camera to plug into then this records the second camera in which ever position you choose to mount it. I have mine facing the rear for front and rear coverage. it shows up as a picture in picture on the dashcam but records a separate file, one for the front and one for the rear.
