I'm pushing a 1500 watt 2 channel Crunch amp and they sound great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are referring to an 1100 watt amp, it depends. Make sure the ohms will match the subwoofer (4 ohm subwoofer with a 4 ohm amp). The goal is to try to match everything, including watts rms, and peak watts. If the amp has more than 1 channel, look to see how many watts rms is put out per channel. It is also important to make sure you don't overpower the subwoofer, otherwise you risk blowing your sub out. A good matching amp is the 1000 watt kenwood class D mono block with 300 watts rms. My SUV has this subwoofer and amplifier and haven't had any problems, and it sounds great.
