- Answer Yes and no. Purchase the additional "My K-Cup" reusable filter (approx. $12-$14) and never worry about this again. Whenever you find a pod you would like to use, that is not designed for the 2.0 series, simply snip the top from the pod and empty the contents into the reusable filter. Since the My K-Cup filter DOES work in the machine, you will have the exact drink you want from the pod that was incompatible.

- Answer Hi and thank you for your inquiry. Our original/first generation K-Cup Brewers and our new K2.0 Brewers heat at the same temperature which is 192 degrees Fahrenheit for K-Cup pods. The K2.0 brews K-Carafe, K-Mug and Vue pods at 197 degrees Fahrenheit. We have found that these are the optimal brewing temperatures for our pods.

- Answer It's not a direct option for the K-cup. You could with a carafe cup. Or you could indirectly with the K-cup by doing 8oz then 4oz.

- Answer I don't have access to a 450 but it looks like it has a wrap around water supply. This would hold more water but would be bigger on the counter top also. The 200 will politely let you know when it needs more water. It works fine.

QuestionWhat is a "Freedom Clip" for a Keurig 2.0 K450 ?I just bought a 2.0 and didn't know you had to use only Keurig k-pods ....I have a lot of pods that are not Keurig.

- Answer It's a clip that tricks the optical sensor to believe it's detected the ring on the newer Keurig 2.0 cups. I've tried the clip, but find that the piece of paper with neon yellow sharpie works best. Look on YouTube.
