Yeah, I completely agree with you on that. And, although I certainly don't want to "mislead" or confuse you with my answer, what I will say is it's more of a "kind of" a combination of both, ending up being a MUCH larger "slot" than what I think you're referring to. Definitely large enough to take a good swig or drink from; NOT like trying to suck a football through a straw like many of them are. Plus, the drinking "slot" is actuated by a button on the natural grip side of the mug, making controllable drinks (vice spills) easy-breezy. Then there's an ADDITIONAL "tab" on the opposite side of the drink slot that makes this mug truly 100% spill-proof. It canNOT be actuated unless the lid's fully secure, so once it is actuated, you know the contents will NOT spill, if the mug takes a tumble or is laying sideways in your lunch pail. Hope that helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it has a good-sized slot, and I actually like it. Maybe that's why the coffee stays so hot for so long? Not sure. I like the slim cup because it fits and stays in the car cup holder.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does has a small slot oblong but I seem to get a mouth full of coffee from it
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Small slot. I like to chug my coffee too. But it flows out easy so it works ;)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has a slot but it's a nice size slot so you can get an ample swallow of what you are drinking.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is a slippy slot which is great since the coffee is so hot.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has a vertical slot. But its easy to drink out of and doesn't suddenly pour out all at once like tervis does, leaving you either messy or choking.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as they're holding the release button down, it pours out
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Slot
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is a hole, obviously, but it is slot-like for sure. Pressing the button opens the flap that seals the slot.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
