Are you setting the number of cups when youbtell it to brew a pot? It would be easy to miss that step. In my old coffee maker i simply addrd the amount of water that i wanted to use, and the maker brewed all of whatever i put in. With the Duo you have to set the number of cups, then push the big K button to execute the process. I forget to do that lelast step on occasion.
