“For some reason in most standard coffee makers 12 cup capacity is not actually 12 cups. I have had three coffee makers in the last year all boasting 12 cup carafes when they have gotten smaller and smaller. So how many ounces is in this "12 cup" carafe?”

With MOST coffee brewers/makers a cup is actually 6 ounces and not a Baker’s cup which is 8 ozs
