Tilt the whole thing back for a second and you can trick the water reservoir float into thinking there is 6 cups of water. I was able to make 2 cups this way. Why my brother in law got a stupid Keurig is beyond me. Pods are not real coffee.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately, for the carafe side, you cannot brew anything less than 6 cups of coffee/tea. Unless, you brew on the K-Cup side of the machine. With this side, you can brew using Pods, or you can get the reusable filters. The reusable filters are so much better than rebuying Pods all the time. Also, you can brew with your own brand of coffee, and brew however much you wish, one cup, 6 oz - 12 oz, at a time. And it only takes 1-2 minutes.
