• Correct. You can only adjust the strength setting on the K-cups.

• The strong button only works when you use k cup brewing feature. When using the carfe you determine howcstrong you want your coffee buy the amount of grinds you add. I use 2 tablespoons for each cup because i love a strong cup of coffee ☕️
