The K-Duo Plus coffee maker comes with a gold tone reusable mesh filter, but you can also fit a flat-bottom paper filter that is compatible with a 12-cup coffee maker. The water reservoir can be positioned on either side or in the rear of brewer to better fit your kitchen layout. The base of the reservoir can be rotated into the desired position and there are instructions printed on the bottom of the brewer for assistance with adjusting it. We hope this is helpful!

Yes, the water reservoir can be placed on the left, right, or back of the filter. I highly recommend this unit and love having both the full pot and Keurig cup options in one machine. One other advantage is that the water reservoir makes adding water for a pot of coffee a lot easier than pouring it in the back of the machine like stand-alone coffee makers—the coffee I’ve brewed stays hot for a long time in the Stainless steel carafe.
