“Can you brew just 6 cups with the water tank filled to capacity. Or do I need to have only 6 cups of water in tank to brew 6 cups.??? I just want to brew 6 cups at a time and not have to refill tank is there a setting for this option?”

Yes, I brew 8 cups sometimes during the week with the tank filled to capacity. Gives me the flexibility to brew a couple of K-Cups for afternoon coffee with my better half :-)
