This unit has a strong brew button and it definitely works. I notice a much deeper coffee flavor when I use it. Now I use it with my dark roast before I drive long distances and I only need one cup for a four hour drive.

I use a stronger blend and I really love my coffee every morning. If you don't find a kcup that you like you can grind whatever beans you like and use the reusable kcup. I've used that as well. I hope that helps some. I already own this style and bought this one for a gift.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I guess the word "quality: is subjective but I prefer my coffee bold and strong and my wife does not. Interestingly, this machine has the "strong" option. By that, I mean there is a button labeled "strong". When I make coffee, I push that button. My wife does not use this option and also uses different coffee (pods). The coffee taste from this machine is fantastic but remember, you must choose a coffee blend that you like or love. No coffee machine can take lousy coffee and turn it into great coffee. Now, it could be my imagination, but I like the coffee quality from this machine better than my prior non-Keurig machine ..........using the same coffee pods. I think, perhaps, it could be because of the "strong" button option this Keurig has mentioned above.
