“Descale light came on and went through the descale process yesterday. Tried to make coffee today and it acts like it is trying to pull water in but nothing happens, it shuts off with no coffee. I have unplugged several times for more than 30 minutes.”

I had something simular happen, I called customer service, and they replaced the coffee maker. Seems as the pump or motor went bad.
