• I would take your travel mug to store and try in person. The drip tray of the coffee maker slides out making more room. It just barely takes those plastic coffee cups that look like bistro tall paper ones if you know what I mean. But slide out the attachment fo a taller style cup. I'm happy with mine!

• If you slide the overflow tray out from under the bottom there is just under 5 1/2" inches to fit your cup.

• You can take the bottom tray out and put your cup under the drip. It will only take a ten ounce cup at the most. Just keep that in mind.

• The tallest cup that will fit under the dispenser is a little over 5 inches. That's with the drip tray removed.
