With the Mini, you need to fill the water for every cup you make. The Slim has a water reservoir enabling you to make several cups with one fill.

Please try again later.I’m trying to figure out what is more important for my daughter’s dorm room so the biggest detail is the slim is as described, same slim size but has the convenient reservoir on the back. Depending on who’s going to use it and what is more important, what I love about the mini, is the storage for the pods in the back, forfeiting the reservoir. But fresh water each time is best. Also, if you go with the convenience of the slim because it can hold more water on the back, there is a cool little pod storage you can attach to the side, that offers storage dilemmas, so the win win if I am thinking out loud would be the slim!
