A:AnswerThanks for your question! While we don’t have a model where the water path is contained solely to contact with stainless steel, our specifications for all Keurig coffee makers currently being produced require that materials used in the water paths are only industry standard materials that do not contain BPA and meet or exceed Food & Drug Administration guidelines for product safety. Hope this helps!

A:AnswerThank you for your question! Should a clog arise due to coffee grinds, it can be cleared using a paper clip or similar tool. Please be sure to exercise caution during this process, as the needles are sharp. To begin, please lift the brewer handle and locate the 5 entrance needles on the underside of the lid. To clean out coffee grounds from the entrance needles, hold the brewer handle in the upward position and with your other hand carefully insert a straightened paper clip into the needle. Gently move it around to loosen any coffee grounds; repeat with all needles. To clean out coffee grounds from the exit needle, remove the pod holder assembly and detach the funnel. Locate the exit needle on the inside bottom of the K-Cup pod holder. Insert a straightened paper clip into the exit needle to loosen the clog and push it out. Once all of the needles have been cleaned out, lower the handle completely and run two water-only brew cycles. Do not insert a K-Cup pod. We hope this helps!
A:AnswerHi Bob and thank you for your question. We recommend you only use Keurig brand or licensed/partner brands in your Keurig coffee maker. These meet the Keurig standards for taste, quality and safety, and are tested to perform in our coffee makers. We do not make or test the other brands, so using unapproved pods or accessories may decrease your coffee maker’s performance, overall life and may affect its warranty. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to our Consumer Care team at 866-901-2739.
