• Yes the reservoir is lit up and I use the filtered water from fridge and have a designated pitcher just for this to keep clean from debris and sediment

• Yes, there is a light in the bottom of the stand that illuminates the reservoir. Not overly bright, not dull... sorta just right to be honest.
