A:Answer The short answer is yes, the Kicker 1800.1 can drive 2 L7 12’s.
However the issues you would face are as follows:
1. How do you wire the 2 L7’s ? They are 2 ohms each which means wiring them in parallel would drop the resistance to 1 ohm. The 1800.1 is not listed as stable to 1 ohm . So you are wiring them in series which will keep the resistance at 2 ohms but now you maybe over driving the subs because he amp is rated at 1800 watts rms @ 2 ohms. A possible way around this maybe turning the gain way down to reduce the risk of blowing the subs.
2. Running an amp of the power the 1800.1 has you need to make sure your car’s electrical system can handle it. Maybe a larger alternator and possibly a second battery would keep the rest of the electrical components working smoothly while running that kind of power level from the amp.
Again, the short answer is yes wired in series the 1800.1 can support running 2 L7’s but just wanted to give you a couple of areas to be mindful of. Good luck on your system.
