• I believe that the RMS is rated at 2,000W, So your best amp would be the Hifonics Alpha 2,000W Class D! It cost $339.99 here on the BestBuy Website! Look it up under SKU:6359790 Hope this helps!

• I have the comp R setup with the cx 1200.1 and it's dialed in professionally, but if I turn it up just a bit after a few minutes I start to smell burnt rubber. My suggestion is go out and get the JL audio 1000 watt class D mono block amp. That will do it, kicker don't make subs like they use to. That's why I run my cx1200.1 amp with my skar LVL 15inch subwoofer that's 1250 RMS max about 3000 watts peak with my amp. Birthsheet is 1276 watts from my amp. Sounds out of this world. Now that's a subwoofer that can't ever be beat by kicker.
