I had 2 of these wired at 1 OHM pushing 4 10" kicker Comp Qs and never had a problem. I will say theres a 43CXA1800 and theres a 46CXA1800. The 43 is only 2 OHM stable. It should be on the sticker on the back of the amp or 1800 will be in white numbers if its 2 OHM stable kinda greyish if 1 OHM stable. Hope this helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same problem and i went to the shop today only to find out this amp is not truly 1 ohm stable . It prefers 2 ohm is what the computer at sound shop said
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You may not have enough power running through the car. Did you do the big 3 upgrade, second battery, high output performance alternator and capacitor? And for a 2500 rms watts is under powered by cxa1800.1 but there’s nothing wrong with that if anything you know your equipment will have a harder time “getting tired”if you wanted to run as close to 2500 rms watts with a kicker product I’d recommended KXA2400.1.
