I can't get any sound to come out null

How do you have it hooked up. If you headunit does not have RCAs just tap into the which ever set of speakers you want. If aftermarket unit you will need to put male RCAs on the Kicker speaker wire ends. You can slice it or buy a set, Kicker makes one.
