• Same here. Mine lasted a year until the speaker blew. I never really even played it too loud. Was curious though if easy to replace the sub.

• The speaker has a design flaw, I have had 3 replaced and it’s been the subwoofer every time. I’m a technical service person and when you have the same problem multiple times and you read that slot if people have had the same issue it usually means there us a design issue. Kicker has not fixed the issue they just throw another one of the junk speakers in and in a year you have the same issue again. FYI even in warranty you gave to pay shipping!

• Kicker will sell you a replacement woofer for the HS8 if it’s out of warranty. It is not difficult to replace.
