Hello, the KICKER KISLOC2 accepts up to a 55 Watts (16 Volts) High Level Speaker Signal and converts it into a Low-Level RCA Signal providing up to 8 Volts. You can connect any device that accepts RCA Inputs to the output of the KISLOC2. Yes, you can connect it to a car audio equalizer.
