Are these amps supposed to run hot null

Been through 3 of them thinking they ran way to hot. Yes they run hotter than what most people would consider normal. Called Kicker tech support & was told they run hot. Guy even told me it would kill its servicable life because they run so hot. Not sure why they’d even make it if it ran hot all the time. Couldn’t get a good answer from kicker.

Mine run above warmer and I feel uncomfortable to install it . What is the ohms of the speaker you using with ? My speaker are 2.3 ohm at 70 watt JBL. Thanks

Not sure how hot it runs..i am only using 2 channels right now and havent had much time with it. Used full volume for about 30 minutes and wasnt very warm.
