Hi Janni, The appliance will stick out further than the cabinets. It is designed to stick out further for recirculating if the appliance is set up as recirculating. We hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unless you have unusually deep upper cabinets, it would protrude that far. It has to protrude enough to have vents clear on the front top for recirculation venting (unless you install it with upper venting). There's really no way to install it flush with cabinets unless you have perhaps very deep upper cabinets. You'll need to allow 4 to 5 inches of protrusion to allow recirculating venting from the top.
