My trim kit brings the microwave to a finished 27". I don't know if smaller kits are available or not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used the KitchenAid 30" Stainless Steel Trim kit MKC2150AS. I used the 30" version so it would match the KitchenAid Oven below it which is also 30" wide. Note: they call it Stainless Steel but its all plastic, and has the Stainless Steel look (new tape stuff). It went in fine. I thought it would butt up right to the Microwave like the old GE I removed. But, it has vent gaps all around the edge of the inside of Trim kit so the microwave can vent. Not a problem, it just looked different. Best buy was out of stock and didn't know when they would get any in. So, I purchased from an outfit called ABT via on line. https://www.abt.com I think the 27" is basically the same. Double check the detailed specs and installation guides at respective web sites.
