“I do not need the venting option as I already have a hood above our range. I need it to replace an existing built-in microwave in the cabinetry. Can this model be installed without the vent into a cabinet?”

Yes, by default it vents out of the top at the front first 2-3 inches but it can be adjusted for various venting arrangements.
