It will not hit, back edge of door actually swings in when the door is opened, when fully open the front edge is still even with the edge of the microware.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Although the installation manual states that there must be clearance for the door, it will actually work within a flush mount as the door hinge pivots in a way that the door never extends past the edge of the unit when opening. However, it may not allow a full 180 degree opening depending on how your cabinet doors line up with the microwave door..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The depth of the unit to the hinge point is 14 3/4" with an overall depth of about 17". If the cabinets are about 14" deep the door will open OK but deeper than that will be a problem. The hinge axis is at the 15" location. Just for information, my cabinet depth is 12". This provides more than enough clearance for the door to completely swing open.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don't want to make it completely flush as you will be covering the top exhaust vent portion at the front of the microwave. However, its only the door portion thats going to be sticking out. However, it may be ok, if you change the direction of the fan motor and vent to outside.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unlikely to hit the cabinets. In order to make the 1.9 cu. ft., this unit sticks out a fair distance from the back wall. Unless your cabinets are very deep, this door will not cause a problem.
