- A:Answer Yes, it is a separate compartment behind where the grounds are. It is one of the easiest reservoirs to fill. You open a large lid. It is almost impossible to spill any water.

- A:Answer If you are wondering if it has a grinder attached it does not. There is another similar model with that feature made by kitchen aid. You would need to pre-grind your beans with this particular model.
