• the unit is quiet. can't hear it at all. The shelf in the top section is not adjustable, but you can fit beer cans on the shelf and bottles below it.

• Yes, it is quieter than the two other wine/beverage fridges I have owned. As for the beer bottles, Corona - no. Sculpin - barely, but you have to tilt them to get them under the front of the shelf. Non-long neck bottles should fit fine.
