• As far as I can tell, after a few weeks, is that the sensor will help you determine time. I put in a popcorn bag and it sensed the size and the right amount of time.

• It means that the microwave senses the food you have in ther..like a dinner plate for a re-heat. The microwave senses what is there and heats according to what's there. It prett amazing and kind of like a convection oven.
