Hello, This model does allow metal racks to be used if used properly per the use and care guide. Use the rectangular cooking rack only for 2-level cooking. To avoid damage to the microwave oven, always remove rack after 2-level cooking. To avoid damage to the microwave oven due to soil buildup, clean rack supports often. We hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not used mine as it has not been delivered yet. I past microwave ovens the metal connects to plastic hangers so do not touch the inside box. It can be used to cook multiple dishes at the same time.
