If using this microwave and the trim kit what is the minimum depth of the cabinet. I see the depth of the microwave is 19 5/8” but do you have to leave space behind it so it can breath when used as a built in with the trim kit? null

You can search out the trim kit installation instructions on KitchenAid's site, and it shows all of the cabinet dimensions you need. 
Built-In Trim Kit Models MK2227 (27") or MK2220 (30")
It says required cutout depth is 22 3/4"
