“Does the water filter only filter the water or the ice too?”

• From reading the owner's manual posted on the Best Buy and the KitchenAid websites, I believe it filters both. However, I don't know for sure yet. I ordered the fridge on 12-02-24, but my delivery keeps getting delayed and now it's scheduled for 03-08-25, if I finally get lucky.
