A:AnswerWe have had our refrigerator for 3 months. We had a problem with frost build up in on one side of the freezer a couple of times. We removed the frost.
This could ultimately leak out of the bottom if not removed.
We called for service, the technician said the it is important to close the freezer door at the CENTER OF THE HANDLE. If closed from the sides the freezer door may not be sealed on one side letting in air, creating frost which can leak.
A:AnswerThere is a button inside the fridge (top middle) that you press if you're seeing that type condensation. I believe it's labeled as "humidity control". Worked like a charm for us.
A:AnswerThe Inside shelves are 12 3/4 inches deep. The produce drawers are 13 1/2 X 11 X 6 inches. There is a large drawer across the bottom that is 17 1/2 X 26 inches that can be divided with a plastic divider. But it is only 3 - 4" inches in height. Hope that helps.
A:AnswerI am not an expert, but you should be able to not only disable the ice maker. You should be able to disconnect the actual ice maker itself, and remove it from the freezer. It is held to the side of the freezer with a few screws/bolts. This could allow you more storage in your freezer.
A:AnswerHello, you do not need to connect it to water if you do not plan on using the ice or water. Thank you for your inquiry on our KitchenAid appliances.
