My fridge is the only appliance in my kitchen that isn't classic stainless. I think the PrintShield looks great. If anything, it is slightly less shiny... maybe more of a dull stainless look. All in all... they match in my book. I love how clean it always looks too!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They absolutely DO NOT match. My newly renovated kitchen has all Kitchen aid stainless appliances however I upgraded to the printshield refrigator and it looks terrible near my other appliances. I will now have to go out and buy a whole new frig. Very disappointed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.About the finish. Let me first say, I’m really picky and was wondering this very same thing. I just bought a new Home, new construction, new everything and I needed to buy my own refridgerator. All the appliances are GE cafe stainless and I wanted the fridge to match as best I could even though I was not going with a GE fridge.. What I can tell you is NO, the Printshield IS a different finish and will not match stainless. It’s a cool concept and if you have kids and are OCD then maybe go with that, BUT if you are one that is picky and want uniformity amongst all appliances, then stay away from the Prinshield and go with the stainless. You won’t regret it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No.they do not Match. Print shield looks like a brushed stainless Where the Double oven that we just purchased is much more shiny/glossy. Our ovens are within two feet of the refrigerator and they do not match. These are all brand new units. Ordered two months ago and installed two days days ago. We spent fifteen thousand plus for the fridge, dishwasher, double oven, microwave, gas range, and downdraft. Fridge and dishwasher are print shield oven and microwave are glossy. Range and down draft still in box so not sure what they look like as the installer (who we were told could install everything) said he could not touch the range as it was gas and that he does not do down drafts. Not real happy right now. .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Stainless and Print-shield Stainless do NOT match, however lighting can reduce or amplify the difference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Printshield in my opinion is not an upgrade. Wait until you get a scratch in it and you will see what I mean. The SS is more work as far as keeping off finger prints, but it worth the effort.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have 2 different Kitchenaid appliances, both with print shield. My fridge is definitely a slighter more silvery color than my dishwasher. It IS noticeable. I'm surprised at Kitchenaid.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.PRINTSHIELD FINISH = STAINLESSS STEEL?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it is the same color of the stainless
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was just forced to purchase a Kitchen Aid French Door, bottom freezer, counter-depth fridge as my side-by-side Kitchen Aid counter-depth may have been the worst designed fridge ever manufactured. It is now in my garage. There is plenty of room in there for bevs but that is about it. Given how completely destroyed the current supply chain is, a standard SS model was unavailable. We purchased the finger-proof stainless model from HD as it was the only one left in North America, literally. As the appliances are not on top of each other, there is no apparent difference between the SS and FPSS grain. There is a comment below that almost made me not purchase it. When I looked at a Whirlpool SS fridge and a Kitchen Aid FPSS fridge next to each other in the showroom, I could not tell the difference. Whirlpool manufactures Kitchen Aid so the SS is the same. Anyway, in my opinion, they look almost identical. Thank You
