“Is KitchenAid going to correct the problem with the door swinging too far open on the remaining stock of this model or just keep selling them? I really like the looks of this fridge but it is obvious from reviews that this is a legit problem.”

Someone already answered this. If you have a heavy quality door, you must level it correctly or it will swing out.
