QuestionDo you need to rinse or scrape all of the food off before washing?

- Answer It has a setting for tough stains and food. I normally scrape the large pieces of food off before running. Have not had problems with it not washing properly. I have even placed pots in it and it cleans well.

- Answer kit, the dishwasher does not have an exterior vent. As steam collects inside the dishwasher it then drains out through the drain line.

QuestionJust got new Kitchenaid model KDOE234GPSO dishwasher. Ran test on pro wash— water remains on all of inside of dishwasher and still there next day. My old dishwasher never was left completely wet on inside of dishwasher after running. Please advise. Thanks

- Answer That is a great question MarieM. First, we would recommend a hard reset to the power. Unplug your unit for about 3 minutes and then plug it back in. If that does not work, please reach out to our customer service team at 800-253-1301. We are open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 8 pm EST, and on Saturday from 8 am to 4:30 pm.

QuestionIf you interrupt the drying cycle, then close the door again, will it continue drying to the end of the cycle? Also, do glasses come out spot-free?

- Answer The Dishwasher does heat the water, but it does not have a soft food disposal. Instead this Dishwasher has filter system.
